Our client
A leading European specialist pharmaceutical company sought to support a newly promoted Site Director. Recognising his potential, and with a large investment due in to his site, the senior management team aimed to equip him with the necessary skills and vision to lead strategically and positively impact both the company and the local community.
Our solution
Our approach focused on understanding the individual's unique context, goals, and personality preferences. Leveraging psychometric data provided valuable insights into his leadership style and potential areas for growth. Together, we addressed common challenges such as imposter syndrome, exploring evidence of past successes to instil confidence in his capabilities

Our approach
As with many of our coaching solutions, we embarked on a 1:1 coaching journey with the new Site Director, beginning with a comprehensive contracting session involving the coaching sponsor and line manager. Over the course of a year, we conducted six sessions, each up to 2 hours long, tailored to meet the specific needs and timelines of our client. Utilising a blend of virtual and face-to-face interactions, we ensured a personalised and impactful coaching experience.
The impact
As the coaching progressed, we honed in on articulating his authentic leadership style, fostering a sense of ownership and confidence in his abilities. By building a strong rapport and employing attentive listening techniques, we navigated through critical areas of development, providing a balance of support and challenge.
The company manufacturing director was delighted with the way that the coaching had led to a significant boost to the Site Director’s confidence and leadership style which was evident from the way he managed his team and engaged with his internal and external stakeholders. This underpinned the significant investment that the company was making in this manufacturing site.
